More of the Latest

I hadn't really taken a look a the big dots on the Pop Orange SS Swiftly. Not a fan, not at all.

New Bleached Coral/Pop Orange Rashguard is coming.

There is a new Petite Dot Faded Zap/Frond Bangbuster out. I already have the Frond/Ocean Stripe Frond one so really don't need this one.

New reversible Wunder Under crops in Parfait Pink/Black were sneakily uploaded to the website recently. The looks almost white in this photo.

Not a real fan of the outfit but I like how she rolled up her pinstripe Inkwell Wunder Unders in this photo.

Don't love the pairing with the Pace Tank but still loving the distinctive look of the Inkwell Pinstripe Gather and Crow crops.

From Australia, the Street to Studio crop. They look really narrow in the leg.

Fresh Teal Warm Up Crew and Dune Surf Scarf
The Kung Fu pant is back for the men.

What I really want you to see is the men's tidal pullover in a FLORAL print!!!! I can't see any any guy, gay or straight, that would wear that!

Anonymous said...

There looks like a new shirt on the girls wearing that new scarf on lll website. A white top and a mint top, both have small dots all over them.

Anonymous said...

@3:08 Hustle Hoodie is straight up prison wear.

There's also a new scuba stretch hoodie in very green in the vinyasa to vino bag pictures. I received a notice of a new pullover called the Stash & Dash in Faded Zap. It looks really nice and promising !

Anonymous said...

Hey @8:31

What other colors does this pullover come in?!?

Omg! I'm returning my rejuvenate pullover!

Did anyone notice the price adjusment of the yoga on the run duffle? $158 to $118! I had to do a doubletake and by that I mean refresh the page.
bad reviews, but it looks like someone was able to get the difference in a gift card.
does lululemon normally re release past bag? because they need to, these new designs have been embarrassing

Anon. 8:31PM here....

I don't know... here is the description:

A lightweight layer designed to keep you dry if it starts to sprinkle Swift fabric is lightweight and finished with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) Loose fit for easy layering and 4-way stretch for unrestricted movement Secure pockets to store your essentials Vents added for airflow.

Hope that helps. :)

I'm sorry, but is that a big polka dot right on her nipple?! Big fail on those polka dots, lulu. I really like polka dots when done right, but the ones lulu has right now are definitely wrong.

Anonymous said...

The dots kind of look like someone spilled something on the shirt and its a stain.

I want to love pop orange, it looks so pretty in photos but a bit too neon in person. When is neon going to move on, I'm over it.

LuluAddict said...

@Leslie - I feel that way, too, about Pop Orange. I like it in photos but not real life.

@ anon 7:52 am - I agree, they look like stains.

To anyone on the Canadian side, if you're interested: there are still Groove Pants available in the older, thicker luon. Regular length versions mainly only size 2 left. For my size 4, I was able to buy the all black Tall version and will have them hemmed. I received them this past week and they have the red hang tag, the luon is great, the fit is perfect (aside from being too long). Cheers.

Awwww thanks @8:31 and 6:17 hehehe!

I was hoping for a pop orange short sleeved swiftly but when I went to the store last week I tried on the light flare/inkwell swiftly and it was almost the exact color of the pop orange energy bra I tried it with. I am so glad I bought that instead of the pop orange one that has now been released as I find the pop orange one really washed out in photos and the polka dots don't look good to me. I really like my light flash swiftly with my inkwell pace skirt and inkwell invert crops.

Totally off topic, but does anyone have the What the Fluff pullover? I am going to wash mine and I was wondering if anyone has any advice. I think the tag says that it can be machine washed in cold water and dried on a low heat setting. Does it NEED to be dried in order to fluff back up? I'm a little nervous about washing it...

This really irks me, Ebay seller
megan.sierra is selling many fake lulu scuba and In Stride hoodies, all as 24 hour auctions. Listing number 111032491824 is a counterfeit alberta lake rose herringbone scuba. Listing number 111032454140 is a counterfeit laceoflage scuba. There are other active auctions for sale by this seller, all fake lulu. Please stay away.

Pop Orange doesn't work for all skin types, but it looks great on me and I love it. Plus, I'm a Giants fan and it will be awesome once baseball season starts up again! :-)

When I saw the dots I thought they were smudges on my computer screen! Polka dots are ok with me but not when they are this big.
I want to like Pop Orange too but it's too bright and actually is an eye sore for me. I don't get the neon colors - can't we just have something easier on the eyes?
My dune Street to Studio jacket arrived today and I am totally in love with it. It's very soft and light weight but still lined. And I think the $98 price tag for this jacket is reasonable. Finally something other than a fitted hoodie in a neutral color for spring! I am usually a 8 in tops but almost always a 10 in jackets, except the Uba softshell in a 6. The 8 fits but I took a 10 for the more relaxed fit.

Can't you report them?

Regarding the dots on the swiftly... It looks like she had a BREAST FEEDING LEAK!!! Not a good look :/

I have the What The Fluff pullover, the yellow one, and I have worn it and washed a few times, in the hand wash cycle and dried it in the setting for synthetics. But this is exactly the same way I wash all my lululemon. The pullover is pefect, looks brand new without any special treatment.

Anonymous said...

The polka dot swiftly will go to WMTM. Really? C'mon, this top is stupid.

But I love my pace tights!

Hit and miss these days, huh?

Anonymous said...

Anon 1030 - I have the what the fluff pullover and have washed it several times. I have detergent for down (rinses away much better) and use an extra rinse. I throw it in the drier with a tennis ball - it fluffs up the down and keeps it evenly distributed and clump-free.

Anonymous said...

I have a what the fluff pullover and I love it! I wash on cold and dry on medium and it's been perfectly fine. I wish I would have bought more colors.

OT - got my power Y's today and they are totally old school lulu! Made in Canada and really thick, solid luon. I bought both purples thinking I would return one of them but now am not sure - might have to keep both!! now if they would start making wunder unders with this old luon - sigh

Anonymous said...

There's a small yoga studio in my town (cross river, ny) called o2 living. They have in stride jackets, old grooves, groove crops, old wunder unders, hot. But not tanks , chatturanga tanks, crbs in purple, blue, green. It's Amazing! I bought all the wu in my size. The difference in quality is shocking. Lulu has gone so downhill.

Anonymous said...

What?! What's going on? Phasing out the Groove Pants in Original Luon is like Coca-Cola stop selling regular Coke and offer only Cole Zero or Diet. Big mistake.

I don't understand Christine Day. She might be a savy CEO but knows nothing about athletic wear.

@Anon 10:30 AM I have the WTF pullover, vest and jacket. I wash/rinse them in cold cycle. Front loading machine + laundry bag. I hang dry then put in dryer at medium heat for 15 mins to "fluff" them up. No shrinkage noticed as they were pretty fitted to begin with and if they did shrink, I'd have known! I didn't think the dryer cycle did much to fluff them but it did take out some of the wrinkles from the spin cycle. Hope this helps!

Anonymous said...

Just a FYI: I received the Power Y in lilac and dahlia- the tags say luon light but it has the feel of old luon. I'm a bit confused, but just in case anyone else sees the tag difference.

Anonymous 10:30AM I the What the Fluff pullover and I washed it in the sink with Woolite and let it drip dry on a sweater drying rack. That was a long process but if you have a handwash cycle on your washing machine it will probably work. I wash all Lulu extremely gentle.

At 9:49pm that you do what for the WTF?? The day I have to put so much care and time like that into washing my sports/gym clothes, I think it'll be time to move on to another brand. Never in the 5 years since I've been collecting lll, have I washed one piece by hand, used special detergent, or air dried anything. It all goes into the washer and then the dryer. I do select the right cycle and temperature for the fabric, just like I do with cotton, wool, sythetics, etc. Never experienced color transfer, even during the Paris Pink era (of which I bought a lot), and only once a Swiftly LS (Pig Pink) snagged, no holes though, and in these years, I have accumulated a large number of them, between LS and SS. But I'm in Europe and the machines/detergents/water might be kinder/softer with the clothes in here?

you should ALWAYS dry down in the dryer! if you don't have a dryer available, then set it out in the sunshine. the reasons is this - you need to make sure down is VERY VERY THOROUGHLY dry, or it can mildew...and once it mildews, it's ruined. dripping it dry allows the down to stay clumped up, and oftentimes those clumps don't thoroughly dry out before mildewing starts. putting it in the dryer with a dryer ball helps to fluff and separate the down while drying it. if you don't have a dryer available, set it in the sunshine to dry - the UV light will prevent mildewing (though at the same time, the UV is not good for synthetics).

Toasty Tech Tights price further reduced on WMTM. I'm not sure if other items gave been reduced, too!!

Our Daily Lemon said...

I always throw in a couple of tennis balls to re fluff my down or synthetics. It really helps! Otherwise they have a tendency to clump.

hey guys! have any of you tried elisabetta rogiani (sp?) crops? I am looking for a WUC replacement.
I have only ever seen these online...do they have flatlocked seams? A gusset? How is the fabric? I'd be so grateful if anyone knows!!
Thanks :)
Also- WHAT? Lulu is phasing out the original grooves? That can't be right?? Those were the second Lulu purchase I ever made...about 6 years ago. It's also the BEST LLL purchase I ever made. I wear those pants almost every week for casual wear, and they are AMAZING. The Luon is thick and nice, no pilling, and you can't see ANY dimples through the fabric. Not so much with this new junk. I miss being able to order everything and anything online and know it was going to be great and look awesome. Sad. :(
Anyway, let me know on the Rogiani if you have feedback!

OT- I just bought a define on ebay and the pocket zipper pulls say "ideal" no lululemon symbol. There is a lulu symbol on the neck zipper. It looks authentic, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this. So sad I have to resort to buying defines on ebay, wish lulu hadn't discontinued them :(

Anonymous said...

Down has to be dried. You can't let it air dry as like someone else said- it rots/gets mildew in it and then it is ruined...

Anonymous said...

Anon at 11:48 AM - Can you post the Ebay item number? I can check and tell you whether you bought a fake. All of my defines have a different zipper pull logo, but I'd like to see the listing if possible. I report all fake lulu I see to Ebay, but they aren't the best at removing counterfeit listings in a timely manner.
I've noticed a lot of fake lulu on Ebay recently, like way more than I've seen in the past year+. This is concerning. Black, coral, shiny purple and shiny black defines with the old red lulu pull tag are what I've noticed recently. Lots of counterfeit lulu scubas as well in the laceoflage, chevron pattern, and others. I've noticed some pretty horrid fake in strides, including the pink one posted above.

Where are all the black WU and Black Presence pants short and tall ---ALL gone???? There were black WU solid in all sizes and colored waistband too but now they are no longer on the website. The silver and brushed are there. Whats going on????

Anonymous said...

Did the black coast to class pants sell out? I know lla said those they are nice, but I didn't realize they had sold so fast. Guess next time I won't hesitate.

This HAS to be fake :http://www.ebay.com/itm/White-with-Multi-Colored-Circles-SCUBA-Hoody-LULULEMON-ATHLETICA-Zip-Hoodie-Sz-8-/310631703136?pt=US_Womens_Sweats_Hoodies&hash=item485317a260

I've been buying Lululemon for about 4-5 years and never seen anything that hideous. Even all the of the recent color blocking isn't that fug.

@ 5:59 PM re: fake Lululemon

I agree - I've seen SO many fake Lulu items just in the past few months - seems to be a huge increase lately.

There was even a fake received on the Lululemon Exchange Facebook group.

Just be careful of what you are purchasing, ladies and gents!

The define Ebay listing is 221196618123. I am returning it because it was listed as mint condition and arrived pilled, most of the paint chipped off the zipper pull and had a small hole! I am interested if it is authentic still for future reference.

LuluAddict said...

I agree about the fakes. Someone just posted some fake Inspires on our facebook group. I bought a pair of vintage relaxed fit shorts last week from ebay and they are a little different from the three other pairs I bought myself in the store years ago. They have no waistband pocket, the luon is thinner, and the luon mix is 86/14 instead of 87/13. However, I find it hard to believe anyone would bother knocking off those. It still has a ripout tag that says they were made in Canada so I'm thinking maybe the design changed. I didn't pay a lot but you have to be careful. The most commonly faked items are: Grooves, Defines, and Scubas.

Pretty soon the fake Lulu and the real stuff is going to be indistiguishable if Lulu keeps lowering the bar....

@ anon 5:42 - lulu released press statement today saying all black Luon pants pulled from shelves (March 1st and later can get refunds) due to a failure to meet high standards and sheerness issues. This is either the beginning of the end or the beginning of the turnaround, but my world just stopped turning on its axis for a moment. ;)

Hi anon at 9:04 AM - IMO the define is real. It's an older define, but the details match that of my river rock/oasis blue jacket. Sorry it didn't arrive as expected:(.
The fake defines I notice on Ebay at the moment are listed as "coral" "bright coral," and "flash." If you check the details compared to similar colors, flash, flush, and passion you'll see there are issues (check the collar, zipper pull, stitching quality, etc.).
I remember the lulu blog featured an article about fakes a couple years back, but I wish they were cover this topic again. And LLA, fake inspires? Wow that's a first.

Those street to studio crops are very cute!
Off topic, I posted a review on a NLT tank and complained about not getting removable cups when ordering online; they said they heard our complaint loud and clear and going forward they will be including them where applicable every time! :)

Any idea as to where the pinstripe Gather and Crow crops are? Not in this morning's upload (actually all but 1 G and C crops are GONE!!!) Are they in stores but no online? Tks!
