I love those eternal legwarmers, just not the color...I REALLY want the black ones! Everytime I see them on the site they are sold out within days :(

unsolicited TMI store try-on report - was somewhat surprised:
A) LOVED the right round pants; they're like DSPs but feel lighter and less fussy. slightly shinier hand and more flowy. not sure about the silver tuxedo color, so am waiting. (i have DSP in alberta lake.) i would size down in these (I am usually an 8 and the 6 was good - a little tighter than i would have gone for, but they are clearly going to stretch.)
B) Also really liked the pump it up jacket, though not the colors for me. (Flare is really nice, i just know i wouldn't wear it that much.) Would also size down to 6 in that one.
C) Technicool long sleeve somehow works even though i usually prefer longer tops. I took an 8 in that. Pretty pricey though.
D) I didn't like the not-so-basic tee enough for the price. the fabric is really nice though.

For reference, I am about 5'7" and around 142 lbs.
Didn't buy any of the above, because i am giving up lulu for new year's (i had to go and return a pile of things), but am SO tempted to break my resolution!

Supremely ugly clothing!

I am really tempted by the mint moment pump it up jacket - it's a great color for spring and looks really flattering. If I'm an 8 in Defines and 6 in tops, what size in the jacket would you suggest?

any idea when the laceoflage crb is coming out?!?!
anybody?
bueller?

The sagging arm pits?!?!? Every model wearing that pump it up jacket has them. Please don't tell me sagging arm pits are in style now....lol. Would never consider that jacket because of that. Also, the mint moment looks so see through. we already have sheer WU and now sheer tops (swiftly). Really not attractive. At. All.

the girl wearing the Mint Moment Classic Stripe Daily Yoga jacket is totally rocking it. I really disliked it when i saw it on the website, but i think it looks great on her

@7:45 PM: THANK YOU!!!! I have a laceoflague scoop neck that I'm waiting to return for the CRB! January 13th is quickly approaching and I'm unsure if I should return it or not, in case we never see the CRB.

i tried the jacket in 6, my usual size. loose up top and fitted at waist. if you really want an overall baggy fit then size up.

I think I would layer a Mint moment crb with my menthol crb.
The striped Mint moment vinyasa scarf reminds me of mint chocolate chip -not a piece you could wear with many outfits.

The polar haze WUP are cute and the reversible black liner may solve the sheer issue but it's so hard for me to buy light colored pants

IMHO mint moment is pretty washed out. i compared it to menthol today, and it was similar to caspian blue (washed out) vs. aquamarine. i think it is good as an accent, but the full-on swiftly or jackets were a bit boring.

Did the creator of Max Headroom design those leg warmers?

All these pastels -Mint Moment, Caspian Blue, Polar Haze and Pink Shell (somewhat)
But no Rubber Ducky?
Bring back Rubber Ducky

Just looks like a reincarnation of discovery stripe.

I got the 6.... And I wear an 8 in defines and a 6 in everything else!

I love the color polar haze but I'm not a fan of the reversible WUs they don't fit the same as the regular ones. I would totally rock the stripes but I already have the black/grey striped ones.

I haven't seen polar haze in person yet but it reminds me of heathered lavender from last year (which was really blue not lavender)

Those polar haze WU would be an instant buy for me if they had the oval gusset... i'm pretty tempted by them though!!

batwing style sleeves have been popular for a couple of seasons now. LLL design picks up trends after they've peaked.

Oh no, all the negative reviews on the Cardio Kick bra have me worried, I was so hoping this bra would be a winner so i ordered it... i'm a 34B but given that this bra seems to cause armpit fat + flat boob syndrome on ladies of similar build and size, I am no longer looking forward to trying it on when it arrives.

Sigh. LLL needs to make more bras, I am in desperate need of more supportive bras, and if lulu releases one more free to be bra I swear i'm going to be sick.

Unsolicited try on report by me:

--the mint moment WUC are BAD. I am 5'9, 129 (give or take a pound) and lift heavy, so I'm around 14-15% body fat. I put on those mint moment crops in even a size UP yesterday (size 8) and they still looked lumpy and cellulitey in places where I don't have cellulite. Like, my quads looked like cellulite. Something about the color and how it looks when stretched maybe? Just BAD. And my educator said I'm not the first lean person who's said that.

--The polar haze WUP are BEAUTIFUL and flattering, though. Crazy, because they shouldn't be so different, but they are. The PH WUP are buttery soft, thick, and the color is just so flattering against any skin tone (and I imagine looks pretty solid on curves, too. Two thumbs up on this one and they're going to sell out immediately. Again, I sized up. Always do for the reversibles and the denim WUs, since they're just a little less stretchy.

--The classic stripe "Unders" and "Under Crops" are actually way cute if you size up. The sheerness is resolved, and they're soft and flattering despite being horizontal stripes.

--As a broncos fan, I bought the leg warmers in inkwell/flare. I think they're reversible, even if they're not listed as such.

--The Pump it up jacket is true to size on me. I have a 34 D cup in "fake booby" style, and it's plenty roomy for my semi-modest chest. I have zero hips but a bit of a "Squats and lunges" booty, and it fits snugly over the booty while being baggier in the belly, but not in an unflattering way. Seems to be perfect for everyone EXCEPT for a pear shape. If you have a small waist and big hips, it'll prob look weird on you because it hides your best assets. I'm no waist and no hips so it's perfect.

--The technicool long sleeve has stupid short sleeves. I said that in an earlier review, but it's bad enough to be mentioned twice. And since the cuffs are ribbed, it's super annoying to have them above wrist height.

--The not so basic tee is so vastly overpriced that it made me cry tears of blood. Also, size down.

--The Right Round pant are badass. I wore them to the store yesterday in my TTS, which is pretty baggy, over some speeds, and THREE educators called other people over to see how cute they were on. They are easy to slide over chunky running shoes. I purchased another pair in a size down (4) to wear when I'm not wearing other things underneath, and they're super cute and flattering. Plus, so silky that they make you want to lady-free-ball.

--The new light as air panties are AWESOME. Much better than the flimsy, stretched out original version so far.

--The work it out tank is a size up item if you have any kind of rib cage or chest. I have a wide rib cage and the normal size 6 felt like I was being loved on by a boa constrictor. THe size 8 looked flabby around the middle because it was too big. So this is probably not the tank for me unless I take it in to be professionally tailored ($$). I'm waiting for MD.

--Mint moment CRB is adorable and the VERY soft material we're always wishing for.

--Root chakra pant is an abomination, and the spring has sprung greys out and looks terrible with any kind of tension (like, oh, say, putting it on your body). BAD.

Where is the Flip your Dog bra?? I wants it. It's my precious. Esp, in Broncos colors...

@anon 7:49 - sagging arm pits are in style, and no i'm not kidding. it's sad but true. they're referring to as a "drop sleeve" and you can see them in clothing across the board, not just lulu.

these tops look completely ill fitting to me on these educators/models. the women have great figures and these bulgy tops and bra's are not doing them any justice.

i realize that the compression with exercise wear, particularly bra's, can be problematic but im sorry, these tops look way to small. or ill fitting, or both.

often i find its the photos of the educators that really sell items i thought were not that great but now its the opposite. i do believe its the bra's.

im not even sure if i have just lost interest but the bra's lately just seem sub par and ill fitting.

I received a PN and the mint moment scarf is listed as Vinyasa II but online it just states Vinyasa??

I hate to be mean but what is with these skirts?? SUPREMELY unflattering, even on the cutest bodies!

Uncanny!

I know everyone loves those leg warmers -- but with the stripes, all I see are the munchkins from wizard of oz and I can't get the lollipop guild song out of my head.

I just purchased the Mint Moment vinyasa yesterday, and although it say II on the hang tag, it is super SOFT! Think tonka & cashew striped vinyasas so nice, I'm in love again:)

Thanks, @The Spiteful Chef for your try on reviews! Much appreciated by those of us who can't get to the stores!

Has anyone tried on the Mint Moment reversible boogie shorts? Any sheerness issues?

I could only hope for a purple haze reversible WUC instead of the WUP!

Any word on the CrossFit capsule? What happened to a January launch?! Are they trying to pass these items off as CrossFit apparel? Because these would SO not work for it!

Couldn't agree more with JeffSarahStroud - alot of women here play tennis in LLL skirts and the current Run version honestly doesn't look good on anyone... Bring back the last version with just the one layer of peats at the back...pleeeeease!

Anonymous said...

the boogie shorts are not sheer. I tested them and have no sheerness issues. I normally go commando though so that might make a difference.

I have 2 run speed skirts and I really like them. My black one is falling apart, but I have been living in it. the pace setter is not bad I have 4 but I prefer the run speed skirt. I hope they bring it back.
